National level educational conference called Chitral Scholarship Summit 2019 Concluded

The Chitral Scholarship Summit 2019 under the auspices of the Regional Organization for Sporting Education (ROSE), a non-profit organization supporting talented students pursuing higher education in Chitral. Heads of eminent universities and education experts, eminent philanthropists and media people Political dignitaries attended with eminent personalities who agreed that higher education is essential for the development of Chitral and alleviation of poverty from here and it is also a fact that the main role is played by the local people can pay.

Speaking on the occasion, District Nazim Chitral Maghfarat Shah said that Chitral is not just the name of a geographical area but it is the name of a complete civilization whose inhabitants have lived here in very unfavorable conditions and still their condition. If we can improve, then it is possible only through education. Prof. Israr-ud-Din, former Chairman, Department of Geography, University of Peshawar, said in his presidential address that higher education is certainly a dream for those from low-income families but the organization has proved to be strong support for such students. Are studying in various higher education programs in reputed universities of the country. It is obligatory on every individual of the society, and society is indebted to him. Highlighting the day-to-day performance of the organization, renowned columnist Dr. Inayatullah Faizi said that so far more than 300 students from the institute have benefited from the scholarships of the organization. He lauded the tireless efforts of the founding chairman of the organization Hidayatullah and said that he was a beacon for all sections of the society. Leading columnist Haroon Rashid and other speakers on the occasion included Dr. Nasirullah Ishaq, Dr. Shakeel Roshan, Abdul Majeed Chaudhry, Abdul Samad Safi, Syed Ehsanullah Waqas, Muhammad Bilal, Rizwanullah, Ejaz Ahmed, Prof. Riaz Danish, Syed Faras Shah, Muhammad Sharif Shakib, and others shed light on different angles of acquiring knowledge and its effects on the life of a Muslim.

Elaborating on the issue, he said that Islam and morality could not be separated from education and whenever this balance was disturbed, its deadly effects badly affected the society. He expressed happiness and satisfaction over the fact that Chitral The passion and dedication of the youth to pursue higher education are no less than in any other region and it is the duty of the philanthropists and knowledgeable people of the region to become a part of the organization every day. 

On the occasion, Hina Rehman, a female software engineer, Nemat-ul-Azam, a college lecturer, and Ijaz Ahmed, a university lecturer, shared their stories of success. The conference is said to be the first scholarship donor conference of its kind in Chitral
